WHS Falcon Volleyball Camps

WHS Volleyball Boosters hosts camps where players of all skill levels can enjoy learning more about volleyball in a fun, fast-paced and high-energy environment. Camps are staffed with volunteer coaches from the WHS program, including Lady Falcons high school players.

Due to continuing COVID-19 related restrictions, it is uncertain at this time if camps will be held Summer 2022. Please check back for updates.

Improve your skills and have funat our Middle School Camps!

Registration for 2019 Middle School Camp opens on April 22nd

Once again we will be offering a high-energy program full of skill-building and fun!   Camps are led by experienced high school coaches and WHS Falcon Volleyball players will also be at camp to work as volunteer coaches.

This year we are offering 2 camps to choose from based on your skill-level.  Both camps will run July 16th -19th and will cost $175.  Camps are open to players who will be in grade 6-8 for the 2019-20 school year.

Basic/Fundamental Skills Camp

July 16th – 19th 2:30PM – 5:30PM at Woodinville High School

Camp Director:  Richard Abiador, North Creek High School Head Coach

Choose this camp if your player:

  • Never played volleyball or is relatively new to the sport
  • Underhand serving and/or beginning to overhand serve
  • Possess basic skills but not comfortable/confident in game situations
  • Has played middle school or rec volleyball but not familiar with the roles of designated positions
    • Setter
    • Hitter
    • Defensive Specialist/Libero

Intermediate Skills Camp

July 16th – 19th 9:30am – 12:30pm at Woodinville High School

Camp Director:  Andrea Roelen, Woodinville High School Head Coach

Choose this camp if your player:

  • Has played multiple club and/or school volleyball seasons
  • Can consistently overhand serve
  • Familiar with roles of all designated positions
    • Setter
    • Hitter
    • Defensive Specialist/Libero
  • Understands rotating and switching
  • Solid passing, setting, and hitting skills
  • Comfortable using all skills in game-like situations
